General Information:

The stalking area is located approximately 50 miles southwest from Santa Rosa city, capital of La Pampa Province. Set in the middle of Quehue valley, this is an animal reserve of singular beauty ant attraction.

The Stalking:

There is the opportunity here to stalk a number of different species in a single day.  The estancia covers some 10,000 acres of private land.  And the species available are: Red Stag, Puma, Water Buffalo, Wild Boar, Backbuck Antelope, Fallow Deer, Axis Deer, Feral Goat, Feral sheep, Mouflon and Dorset Ram.

Programme:

The estancia is located some 650 kilometres from Buenos Aires. It is accessible by domestic flights to Santa Rosa airport, where members of the staff will be waiting to drive you to the Lodge. Domestic commercial and charter flights can be arranged.

The normal programme at this Lodge includes 5 stalking days, and 5 nights.  A minimum of 2 guests is required.  The daily routine is entirely flexible and can be custom-made to suit individual requirements.

Seasons:

The best time for deer stalking is from 20th March until 20th April given that this is the rutting season, first for the Red Stag and then the Fallow Deer.  The season for other species is open year round.

Accommodation:

The main house of the Lodge has 6 double-rooms with private bath, and the guest-house has another 2 suites. There is also a great dining area and a lounge with a fireplace where you may relax and enjoy an after-dinner drink. There is a further guest-house with 3 suites and an extra cabin. A swimming pool is available for guests. All accommodation is air conditioned, as well as being equipped with a central heating system.

The standards are world-class, with the special features of the Argentine Pampas.  Luxury facilities such as jacuzzi, steam bath and a swimming pool (from December to March) are provided, and there is an Open Bar service 24 hours a day.  Diet menus, personal trainer and masseuses can be made available if requested in advance.

The Lodge is noted for its personalized service, with a special emphasis on the warmth and cordiality of the staff.  An excellent local cuisine is offered, specializing in game meat, local dishes and a great variety of wines and champagnes from Mendoza province.

A deposit of 50% confirms a reservation.  The balance is payable 60 days before commencement of the programme.
