General Information:
This fishing operation, with an opening in January 2009, is the latest fishing operations on the south coast of Cuba. Located in the Bay of Ana María, Ciego del Avila, the port of Júcaro is the base from which the adventure starts. The same team that manages the Jardines de la Reina (Queen’s Gardens) fishery is the operator atSouth Ana María.
The Fishing:
The operator is offering its 16 years of experience in Cuba by providing professional, trained guides, and fully equipped Dolphin skiffs. Best of all, this is a unique and virgin spot to fish - for Bonefish, Tarpon, Snook, Jack Crevalle and other reef fish such as Cubera Snapper, Mutton Snapper and Barracuda.
While there are none of the large migratory tarpon to be found in this area, there is good fishing for the resident variety, in the channels and among the mangroves.

Accommodation is provided aboard the live-aboard yacht Caballones
